The Great White and Wild North

So we went up North, far up North. That was our first mistake.

Then our car broke so we called CAA, who is on strike! So we talked to AAA staff somewhere is the USA, that was our second mistake.
They sent our tow truck to Cochrane, Ohio. 3 hours and 15 minutes later our tow truck found us somewhere near Cochrane, Ontario. Below is a photo of us we took of ourselves during the third hour, after sitting in our car with no heat in - 34 temperatures plus wind chill.

We missed our train that was going to take us 6 hours north to James Bay. So we spent the night in Cochrane, took a picture of the train and headed south to North bay.

I have a "life list" a list of things I would like to do before I turn 25. Ice fishing is number three.

So I went ice fishing, with live bait and everything. It was an adventure! We had 15 little fishes and only "used" three. The rest I snuggled to keep warm and alive.

This is a photo I took of my brother in law Josiah. It was cold.

This is me and my bag of fish! I loved them and took care of them for over 24 hours. I thought I would put them in out pound. On the way home form North bay, I took them back to the bait store. The lady thought I was crazy.

This is the only thing I have left to remember the fish carried around inside on coat for 2 hours.
