Alasdair

Alasdair and I ventured in to the heart of downtown K town to capture his uniqueness and character against a more rugged backdrop.

Ryan &Jenn

I only met Jenn and Ryan a few months ago, but I feel like I have known them a lifetime.

They are such true and genuine people, they inspire you through their ordinary love and life.

This weekend I had the great joy of joining them as they celebrated the union of their two lives.

These two are so much fun I wish you all could meet them

These photos were taken in the city the love and live in, isn't beautiful

They had a intimate gathering a the butterfly conservatory. It was just perfect.

A thought to Ponder

I do not write a lot on my blog but today amongst meetings, sessions, and editing photos I stumbled a cross a quote caught my attention.

"When you know absolutely nothing about a skill, you are unconsciously incompetent -- that is, you don't know what you don't know. As you learn more, you become consciously incompetent: you know what you don't know. With training and practice you can become consciously competent, while total mastery makes you unconsciously competent, meaning that you use the skill so effortlessly that you're not even aware you're doing it.'"
- Bo Burlingham

I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful summer weather.

Sabrina and Paul

Sabrina and Paul are such a sweet couple. I have observed and respect their quiet and consistent love. I am so excited to be part of their wedding this summer!

Marleen

I had the great joy of capturing a few images of beautiful Marleen this morning. She is one of the most blissful and striking people I have met in my life.

Thanks for allowing me the pleasure of capturing a glimpse of your radiant and true beauty.

Mothers Day

These are photos I captured of my Mom last night, after our Mother's day BBQ.

Not only has she been a loving and supportive Mother to four daughters and a grandmother is three Grandsons.

Here she is mothering a few of her orphaned baby lambs. These are lambs she has nursed back to life, by bottle feeding them morning and night.
(My parents are sheep farmers)

She is such a maternal and loving women. I hope to someday to be as great and gracious as her.

I love you Mom!
